You may remember our girl EZ from years ago when she was in our program.  She was found on Westpark Tollway!  Unfortunately, EZ is losing her home of 6 years and needs a new foster or forever home right away before she has to go to boarding. EZ is housetrained, cratetrained, and loves people! She is a medium size girl, is about 7 years old and weights approximately 45 pounds.

EZ is sometimes known as the EZ2008 alarm system because she's an excellent watch dog, barking whenever she hears new people come inside the house, but she loves everyone she meets and is always happy when someone is around to pet her or snuggle with her. EZ has two speeds: On and Off. When she's On, she likes to go for walks, explore the yard, or pen mysteries under the name Ivana Treatnow. When she's Off, she sleeps; anywhere.

EZ is a shepherd/retriever mix, is eager to please, and is very smart. EZ has the most expressive golden eyes that will melt your heart. She's great on a leash, is house trained, knows how to sit, lie down, get in her crate, and she knows what "No" means. As kind and sweet as EZ is with people, EZ has difficulty hanging out with other dogs, most likely because of all she has been through. So we believe that the best home for EZ would be where she is the only pet, with an owner who loves to spend time with her.

EZ is super smart and knows several commands, including "Sit," "Lie Down," "Stay," "No," "Back" (aka "heel," also works as "get back here."), "Get Out of There," "Hey!" (always grabs her attention), and "Come Here."

If you are interested in fostering or adopting EZ, please contact us info@scoutshonor.org or complete our app online at www.scoutshonor.org.  She is a wonderful dog and deserves to live her golden years in a home where she is loved and can love right back!

SHR covers all expenses associated with fostering!
