Sweet Clapton! The stories this darling boy could tell if he could talk.
Clapton had been living in a bad area of Houston with his buddy Pattie in poor conditions for quite a while. Recently, someone picked both of them up and took them to BARC (Houston pound). Unfortunately, once turned in in their bad conditions, they only had 72 hours until they were to be euthanized. Luckily for them, we were able to quickly figure out where they could go and sent someone to pick them up. They are now safe and resting comfortably, getting the love and care they need.
Clapton is an adult Lab mix and weighs about 65 pounds right now. Clapton is very sweet and friendly and rides great in the car.
Clapton is so happy! At the boarding facility he gets so excited when anyone comes to see him. His whole boy just wiggles. He's such a lover and loves to lean on your and cuddle. He's great with his friend Pattie and seems fine with other dogs of any size. He's just a bundle of happiness!!
Clapton had entropean when we rescued him and he likley had been dealing with that his whole life. It is so miserable - it's where your eyelashes literally rub on your eyeballs! Painful!! Well, Clapton had surgery a few weeks ago to correct this and he can SEE for the first time ever!! Gosh, you can tell he's so happy and appreciative!
