I am Bruno, and I am super happy these guys at Scout’s Honor came to rescue me and my “street” family. You see, we were just hanging out in a neighborhood and then a nice lady started to feed us. Life was good, but the neighbors ruined it. They started threatening us, chasing us, even threatening to shoot us. They actually got a hold of me once but our friend fought them off. She put out pleas for help knowing that we would never be safe with her.

Scout’s Honor rushed to help. The rest of my “family” is not as timid as I am. So they were easy to handle, catch and load into the car. I was not so sure. What if the lady was mean like the neighbors? How did my family know it was ok? Well I did not let them catch me, but at the last minute I realized I had rather be with my family than on my own, so I jumped in. And guess what, the lady was super nice to me.

I am learning to be brave and trust again. It’s pretty great to not be scared all the time.

I am only about a year old, maybe two. I am 19 pounds but would love a little more to eat. I love other dogs and though I don’t need to go to a home with one of my family members, a home with another dog would help me learn that you are a good guy. I have already learned about cuddling in a lap. It is pretty great!

I am currently heartworm positive (not contagious) but Scout’s Honor will take care of that for me. Just ask them if you have any questions.
